Writing your goals down, that really put things in motion because it is no longer just in your head! So, decide on your goals, and make sure they are SMART goals. Specific, Measurable, Attainable, Realistic, Timely. Look at your goals at least three times daily to keep yourself focused.
Go easy. Don’t try to do too much at once because you will set yourself up for failure. Small changes bring about Big results. Success is what you want even if it is a small one.
Vision Boards are great so attend a workshop or make your own motivating picture board of the future you're working toward and make sure to have pictures of yourself on your vision board to encourage you to keep moving forward!
Creating simple steps to keep you on track. A daily routine that will keep you consistent and give you a sense of accomplishment.
Review your progress at the end of each day and journal your results, because it allows you to revisit and summarize your successes. It also gives you a chance to plan your attack on any unfinished goals for the next day.
Just remember, it’s never too late to restart your New Year’s resolution, just do your SMART GOALS, don’t do too much at once, keep a visual reminder of what you’re working toward, simple steps to keep you on track, stay consistent and review your progress at the end of each day but the most important thing is to start!
